WHY WE do it.

The couple behind the dream

Theresa and Alberto brought their dream and their vision to this country: offer a supermercado that treats people like family, and this goes back to Alberto’s earliest years when as a kid he would flip candy for a profit, a very common practice in Latin America.

Theresa and Alberto have a profound love for what the do through their supermercado, and this became the seed upon which they grew their own chain of grocery stores.

Being part of the community through their stores, and providing for the customers IS OUR WHY.

This dream began in 2010, Martin's Latino family-owned business has grown to serve our community in 3 locations, focused in the Hispanic and ethnic communities in the Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs. Throughout the years, we have been able to help families to feel closer to home, with products that reminds them of their homeland.

We will continue to live our mission: to provide high-quality products at affordable prices. It is our privilege to serve our customers with integrity and honesty, this is their store.
